About The Alphabet Set:
A loose electronic-oriented collective consisting of over 20 people, The Alphabet Set have been throwing parties, releasing and promoting Irish electronic music for the last 5 years. Set up in the late Spring of 2002 as a platform for a group of bedroom-producer friends, the collective has grown in size and scope, and is now in its second year curating the electronic stage at the Mantua Festival.
Our events aim to juxtapose and contrast different styles of the wider whole of electronic music. With this in mind, and with an strong emphasis on live performance, the 2007 line up features 29 acts, blending the unknown with the best of the homegrown Irish scene along with some of the interesting sounds of what's happening elsewhere around the world.
